Corrections officials confirm MS-13 members attacked officers at Wallens Ridge State Prison

Three corrections officers were stabbed in a coordinated attack inside Wallens Ridge State Prison by inmates that the Virginia Department of Corrections confirmed are members of the criminal gang MS-13.

Two of those officers remain hospitalized in stable condition while three others were treated at a hospital then released.

The report from corrections officials said the five MS-13 members were in the US illegally and came to the states from El Salvador.
