Meeting scheduled at Tusculum University discussing future of David Crockett Birthplace State Park

Tusculum University will host a public meeting Thursday for Tennessee State Parks on rebuilding plans for David Crockett Birthplace State Park in Limestone.
With the exception of the Crockett Shoals Overlook Trail, the rest of the park remains closed after absorbing massive flooding from the Nolichucky during Hurricane Helene.
Park officials want to hear from the public about future renovations and possibly new features once construction begins. Doors open at 6 pm at Niswonger Commons and participants will be voting on proposals.
