Tennessee unveils Smokey Grey jersey version 4.0
Tennessee Athletics unveiled the fourth edition of the Smokey Grey jersey that the Vols will wear in November on Salute to Service Day.
The tribute stitched into the fabric this year will honor the United States Armed Forces and the Volunteer Spirit of Tennesseans running to the front lines to lend their help.
It will likely be the last special edition jersey designed with the help of Nike engineers. Published reports say Tennessee will switch back to adidas apparel in 2026 after failing to reach a new deal with the Beaverton, Oregon company.
