Double homicide victims formally IDd by BVPD

Bristol Tennessee police formally announced the names of the victim’s in Sunday’s double homicide on Lilley Drive.
The city report said 21-year-old Lexy Coleman and 20-year-old Deonte Wright were found dead at the scene of the incident while 22-year-old Kevin Collin is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The report also said police are withholding the motive and other details about the shooting and the prime suspect, 18-year-old Elijah Campbell, to protect the integrity of the investigation. Wright’s father Joseph told WCYB that robbery was the reason behind the incident and there were more people involved than just Campbell.

Authorities said they did not have a date of Campbell’s initial court appearance. Tennessee officials have filed requests in court to have Campbell extradited from Virginia.
