Meadowview man arrested for drug charges after warrant served

A Meadowview man is being held without bond after warrants relating to drug charges. The Washington County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve an outstanding arrest warrant in the Northridge Road area on 46 year old, Christopher William Jones. He was found in possession of methamphetamine, prescription pills and several thousand dollars. Jones was charged with Possession, Conspiracy with Intent to Distribute, Failure to Appear, and Violation of Bond. Jones is being held at the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail without bond.
