VSP: Fatality reported in Monday morning crash on I-81

The Virginia State Police report that one person was killed in a crash in Washington County, Virginia in an early Monday morning crash. Police said the crash happened around 6:07 a.m. on Interstate 81 northbound at mile marker 31. Authorities say the driver of an SUV struck a disabled tractor-trailer that was in the right lane. The driver of the SUV died at the scene.
