Ferrari collection of former Northeast Tennessee car mogul gets record prices at Mecum Auctions event
One of the world’s most prestigious collections of Ferraris once owned by Greeneville auto dealer Phil Bachman were sold at the Mecum Auctions event in Kissimmee, Florida—all 46 of them.
Within two hours, Bachman’s exclusive batch broke purchase records for five Ferrari models and raised a profit of more than $114 million.
According to the website Ferrari Market Letter, Bachman usually purchased the last model of Ferrari that came off of the assembly line and they had to be yellow. Bachman died in August at the age of 87.
