Abingdon Lady Falcons win VHSL State basketball Championship

The Abingdon Lady Falcons are state champions in girls basketball for the first time in school history! The Falcons defeated Skyline 58-38 at the Siegel Center in Richmond Saturday afternoon. The Falcons were led by North Carolina State commit Annsley “A.J.” Trivette with 25 points and 14 rebounds. The Falcons also won the volleyball state championship last fall.
