Escaped Hawkins County inmate captured

Joshua Metcalf, the inmate who escaped from the Hancock County Jail Thursday, was captured. Metcalf was arrested Sunday morning. Metcalf was awaiting trial for a second-degree murder charge. According to the TBI, Metcalf was charged with killing his brother, Jerad Metcalf, in 2024.
