Three in custody following Johnson City holdup

Johnson City police announced the arrest of three suspects related to a robbery on Monday involving a setup made with a Facebook Marketplace purchase.

A city report said two juveniles were taken into custody then charged with aggravated robbery, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony and theft of a firearm.

Jaden Taylor, 18, of Elizabethton was arrested on Wednesday and is charged with facilitation of a felony.

The robbery took place in a grocery store parking lot off State of Franklin Road on Monday evening, according to the previous police report.

Taylor was transported to the County Detention Center in Jonesborough while the two juveniles were taken to a Johnson City holding facility.
