Ribbon cut on new Blountville Athletic Park

Officials cut ribbon Saturday on the new Blountville Athletic Park. The new park is at the old Blountville Middle School and includes softball and baseball fields, pickleball courts and more. Mayor Richard Venable says this is just the first part of the project, the second phase will include a farmers market, basketball courts, and more pickleball courts. Mayor Venable also says he hopes the facility will be able to be used for little league sports.
