Bashing his head before arrival, Jonesborough man jailed for contraband
A Sheriff’s Office report said a Washington County man ran from officers then attempted to bring narcotics into the Detention Center in Jonesborough.
Timothy Miller, 54, is charged with introduction of contraband and resisting arrest following the incident on Mill Street. Officers found a packet of meth Miller was trying to conceal during jail processing.
He also received medical care after he repeatedly bashed his head into a partition in the back of a squad car prior to his trip to jail, the report said.
