Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant in Kingsport announces closing

A iconic Kingsport eatery will soon close its doors for good. Giuseppe’s Italian Restaurant announced Thursday that its final day will be June 12. The restaurant posted on it’s social media that the decision was not easy, but the owners are ready spend more time with family. The restaurant had previously announced plans to close in 2023, but it stayed open after a potential buyer backed out. The restaurant first began serving customers in 1987.
