Parents from Ashe County jailed after 3 month old suffers stroke, receives 4 broken ribs

The parents of a 3 month old baby are held without bond in neighboring North Carolina after the staff at a hospital reported serious injuries with the infant consistent with abuse.

Tyler Steven Greene, 27, and Angel Faith Greene, 25, are charged with felony child abuse with serious injury, according to the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office.

Workers at Brenner’s Childrens Hospital in Winston-Salem told investigators the child had suffered a stroke and had four broken ribs among other internal and external injuries. More charges are pending.
