TDOT announces reopening of Gap Creek Road Bridge

The Tennessee Department of Transportation announced the reopening of the Gap Creek Road Bridge in Carter County, one week ahead of schedule. The bridge had been closed since January following inspection findings. Carter County Mayor Patty Woodby. expressed gratitude for TDOTs efforts to reopen the bridge. The Gap Creek Bridge is located between Big Springs Road and John Taylor Road in Elizabethton.
