Kingsport Fire Dept says one person injured in Monday morning industrial fire

The Kingsport Fire Department reports that one person was transported to a nearby medical center following an industrial fire Monday morning. According to a social media post, Crews responded to the 400 block of Industry Drive at approximately 6 a.m. Monday amid reports of an industrial fire. The department said “multiple cylinders” were venting and on fire, but there was no hazard to the community.
