Juvenile shot in Johnson City, JCPD searching for person of interest
A male juvenile was injured in a shooting that happened late Saturday night, according to the Johnson City Police Department. Gunshot detection technology and 911 dispatch alerted officers to a reported shooting in the area of the Cherry Street Parking Lot. Officers found a male juvenile who had been shot in the arm. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Investigators have identified a person of interest in connection with the shooting and are working to find the person for questioning. The investigation is ongoing.
