Mother jailed after child found wandering in Bloomingdale with no clothing
The mother of a Sullivan County toddler is held in jail without bond after her child wondered around a Bloomingdale neighborhood without clothing and, according to eyewitnesses, was almost struck by an automobile early Friday.
Harley Rowland, 26, called 911 when she could not find her child while deputies obtained a neighbor’s surveillance footage and saw the child run towards the highway. They caught up with the toddler near Pizza Plus and Rowland was charged with one count of child abuse and neglect.
