Retro goes vertical with second marquee install at Bonnie Kate Theater

More visual evidence of the Bonnie Kate Theater’s reemergence was being posted on Wednesday with the installation of their new vertical marquee signage.

The glory days of the movie house’s Art Deco design are featured, complementing the $100,000 horizontal fixture posted on the Elizabethton landmark in June.

The signs were retro fitted and designed by Snyder Signs with the entire restoration funded by a City of Elizabethton/Tennessee Downtown Improvement grant of $44,000 along with additional funding collected by Bonnie Kate fans and supporters.
