Appalachian Power reminds customers of assistance programs

Appalachian Power is urging eligible customers to apply for government assistance programs. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program is a federal initiative available to help income-eligible customers reduce their electric bills. Tennessee residents can apply for assistance on the Tennessee Housing Development Agency’s website. Virginia residents can find information and apply on Virginia’s Department of Social Services website.
