Ballad Health and Anthem sign new contract

Ballad Health and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Virginia have signed a new contract to continue access for Anthem members for several more years. Ballad said as part of the agreement, digital connectivity between the two organizations will be expanded, which will streamline processes. T he new agreement affects nearly 50,000 Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield members, including those enrolled through an employer or health insurance exchange, Medicaid and Medicare Advantage.
