Benefit for The Crumley House

The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center is excited to announce, “Keys for a Cause,” a high-energy fundraising event set for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at The Blackthorn Club. The evening will feature dueling pianos, live auctions, dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres and unforgettable fun—all while supporting the life-changing work The Crumley House provides for survivors of traumatic brain injury (TBI).
The event marks a new chapter in The Crumley House’s fundraising efforts. For years, the organization’s Polynesian Beach Party served as its signature annual event. Now rebranded and relocated to the Johnson City area, “Keys for a Cause” blends familiar favorites with exciting new twists—offering guests an evening of music, laughter, and meaningful connection.
“We’re proud to evolve this beloved event while keeping the spirit of community and celebration at its heart,” says Dr. Caroline Abercrombie, Crumley House Board Chair. “This change reflects who we are today and how we continue to grow in service to our residents and the brain injury community.”
The night will include:
- The Feisty Piano dueling pianos show taking audience requests and encouraging crowd participation
- Auctions featuring experiences, high end bourbons and local treasures
- Wine & Gift Card Pulls
- Hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and dancing
The Crumley House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has served as a lifeline for brain injury survivors across the region for over 30 years, providing residential and day programming that fosters independence, dignity, and community connection.
“This is more than just a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of resilience, recovery, and community,” says Guynn Edwards, Executive Director. “Every ticket, every sponsorship, and every dollar raised helps improve the quality of life for individuals living with brain injury.”
Reserved table sponsorship opportunities on a variety of levels are now available. More detailed event information is available at crumleyhouse.com.
