Bristol Tennessee Commissioners To Set City’s Property Tax Rate In Called Session

Bristol Tennessee City Commissioners meet this afternoon in a called work session to set this years locally assessed property tax rate. Bristol’s local tax base assessment is more than 785 million dollars. This years tax rate is one dollar and 98 cents per one hundred dollars of assessed property value. Commissioners will also hear a presentation by the Bristol Tennessee School’s Career and Technical Education Department. The meeting gets underway at the Ewell Easley Municipal Annex Building at one pm.
