Buchanan County to receive over $389k for debris removal

Buchanan County, VA will receive over $389,000 in federal disaster relief to help cover debris removal costs after severe winter storms and flooding impacted the region in February 2025. The funding was awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Buchanan County is among the Virginia localities included in a federal disaster declaration that was approved in April of last year.
