Candyland Christmas returns to Downtown JC later this month

A popular holiday event is returning to Downtown Johnson City later this month. Candyland Christmas returns downtown beginning November 29 and continues until January 4. The celebration kicks off with the Grand Christmas Tree Lighting Saturday, November 29, at 6:30 p.m. on Commerce Street in front of the Johnson City Landmark Sign. More than 180 decorated Christmas trees will be displayed, with each created by local businesses, organizations, and community groups. Trees will be placed downtown around King Commons and Founders Park all the way to Main Street.
