CCSO arrests Memphis man for conspiracy to traffic drugs into a state prison
The Carter County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Memphis man in connection with a conspiracy to traffic drugs into a state prison. 30 year old, Michael Jerome Flowers, was arrested Friday following a sting operation that began in May. Flowers was charged with criminal conspiracy, bribery of a public servant, and other related charges. Flowers was taken into custody by a team of CCSO SWAT officers and CCSO narcotics investigators, and is being held at the Carter County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond. The sheriff’s office stated the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are pending.
