Collision between motorcycle and car in Kingsport leaves one seriously injured

Kingsport police continue to investigate a collision between a motorcycle and car on West Stone Drive that left the bike rider with serious injuries.

Robbie Helton, 55, of Rogersville, was eastbound when a vehicle driven by James Daugherty, 81, of Kingsport, pulled out of an intersection at into Helton’s path, causing Helton to crash into the back of Daughterty’s car. Daugherty was not injured.
