Convoy of police follow and arrest known Knoxville gang member in Bristol

A pursuit involving local police and US Marshals ended Monday evening with a crash on Interstate 81 and the apprehension of one of the known leaders of the Gangster Disciples crew out of Knoxville.

Jametrick Franklin King was spotted in Kingsport, causing the known drug dealer to speed out of a parking lot and starting the chase that stretched into Bristol until he eventually wrecked his vehicle.

King had an active warrant for his arrest on drug related charges out of federal court in Greeneville, according to an agency report.
