Delta Variant Cases In Region’s Youth Continue To Climb

As school students in the region return to the classroom Monday, they do so with ever increasing concern over the rising number of COVID19 Delta Variant cases in the younger population. The Tennessee Department of health says 1479 children between the ages of five and 18 in our region are currently receiving treatment for the virus. The highest number of cases are in Sullivan County with 476 followed by Washington County Tennessee with 388 and Greene County with 236.
