Emmy-winning HBO Documentary Series examining Sean Williams case
The News and Creative Emmy winning HBO Documentary Series team wants to give national attention to the Sean Williams case.
Noted journalist of The New Yorker Ronan Farrow said Johnson City’s questions about police accountability are more urgent than ever when talking about his new HBO documentary now in production.
“The details of this story at times defy belief. I’m so grateful to the sources in Johnson City who have helped to bring it to light,” Ronan said in a prepared statement published by Warner Bros. Discovery.
Farrow is a producer on the film that will detail the investigation surrounding convicted serial predator Sean Williams and the allegations of the former business owner bribing members of the city police force to keep cases of drugging and raping women under wraps.
Former federal law enforcement official Kat Dahl is being interviewed by HBO for her account of the story. Dahl was dismissed after she suggested an investigation into Williams drugging and sexual assaulting women in his downtown apartment complex that he owned.
Williams is currently in prison serving a 95 year sentence for three counts of producing child porn.
