Emory & Henry College plans for traditional fall 2021 semester
Emory & Henry College has announced plans to return to a traditional in-person learning format for the 2021 fall semester.
“Our main priority will remain the health and safety of the Emory & Henry community,” says President Dr. John W. Wells. “The College’s COVID-19 task force has been monitoring the situation and is optimistic that we can return to a sense of normalcy soon.”
School officials said Thursday their goal is to welcome all students back to campus with an increase of face-to-face classes with more recreational campus activities. The decision was made in response to declining COVID-19 cases across the country, and the college will continue to follow the latest CDC guidelines.
Dr. Wells says the first day of classes is set for August 16.
