ETSU falls to Furman in SoCon final

No. 6 seeded Furman beat top-seeded East Tennessee State University 76-61 in Asheville Monday night to secure the Southern Conference Tournament Championship and a NCAA Tournament bid. Furman won its eighth SoCon title in program history and first since defeating Chattanooga in 2023. The Buccaneers were vying for their first NCAA bid since 2020.
