ETSU recognized with Carnegie Foundation “Community Engagement Classification”
ETSU is being recognized as a national leader in community engagement. The school has earned the Carnegie Foundation’s Community Engagement Classification, a designation held by fewer than 400 colleges nationwide. ETSU says students are working directly with community partners through hands-on projects across multiple networks. ETSU says the recognition reflects a long-term commitment to serving the region and connecting classroom learning to real-world needs. This is the second time ETUS has received the award, the first was in 2008.
