Family member says Bristol shooting victim in medically induced coma
The family of Bristol shooting victim Kevin Collin says doctors have placed him in a medically induced coma in an effort to save his life.
The update placed on the GoFundMe social media page by a family member says Collin was shot four times at his home on Lilly Street Sunday while two friends, Lexy Coleman and Deonte Wright, died from their gunshot wounds.
The post said Collin suffered a severe brain injury in the shooting and a portion of his skull had to be removed during surgery to relieve pressure from swelling.
18-year-old Elijah Campbell is charged with attempted murder in Collin’s shooting and two counts of first degree murder in relation to Sunday’s incident.
