Governor Lee Addresses Newly Passed Transportation Modernization Act In NET

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee was in NET Tuesday and praised local lawmakers for helping push through his three point three billion dollar Transportation Modernization Act. Lee says the recently approved act addresses and funds Tennessee’s traffic needs with a more than three billion dollar investment. The governor also says TDOT’s Region I that includes most of East Tennessee and all of Northeast Tennessee is both an incredibly important part of the country and part of the Volunteer State. Lee says the transportation act will impact both urban and rural areas of Tennessee.
