Greeneville PD: man charged after incident with off duty THP trooper

Greeneville Police Department reports that man has been charged with felony reckless endangerment after an incident involving an off-duty Tennessee Highway Patrol trooper. The report says the trooper told investigators that a driver became aggressive in a Marathon store parking lot, then allegedly reversed down Park Street, spun his tires, and nearly struck him with an SUV. The suspect was identified as John Besancon and police obtained a warrant charging him with felony reckless endangerment.
