Hawkins County Schools: Cherokee High School to operate fully remote this week due to rise in COVID-19 cases

Cherokee High School in the Hawkins County School District will move to full virtual learning this week due to a rise in COVID-19 cases in students and staff.

It is the only school in the system to switch to fully remote learning, and the district anticipates allowing classes to resume in-person again after fall break beginning Oct. 19.
