House Minority Leader Terry Kilgore condemns political death threat made to colleague
House Minority Leader and Gate City Delegate Terry Kilgore expressed concern and relief after fellow Delegate Kim Taylor of Dinwiddie received a politically-motivated death threat via a text message on Thursday.
Kilgore’s message on social media said, “No public servant should ever face death threats for doing their job,” and “this kind of dangerous rhetoric has no place in Virginia’s politics.”
A spokesperson for Taylor said a suspect was arrested and no threat will deter the lawmaker from the work she was elected to do.
