Investigation underway after death at Southwest Regional Jail in Abingdon

Officials with the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon reports that an in-custody death is under investigation. The death happened Friday and the circumstances and cause of death are under investigation by the Virginia State Police. No other information has been released.
