Investigators need tips on vandals who disturbed gravesites in Glade Spring

Some vandals swiped items from the graves in a Washington County, Virginia memorial park and police are asking for tips to find the individuals responsible.

A Sheriff’s Office report said thieves removed the metal flower vases from gravestones at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring between January 15-22.

Anyone who spotted suspicious activity in that area or believes the tombstone of their loved ones has been disturbed is asked to contact investigators in Abingdon. Tips can be anonymous. (276-676-6000 or text WSCOVA & your message to 847411)
