Johnson City Board of Dwellings Standards and Review to hold public hearing for Haven of Mercy residents this evening

Residents with the Haven of Mercy will have an opportunity to go before a Johnson City board this evening to address any concerns after the shelter was previously ordered to be vacated.

The Johnson City Board of Dwellings Standards and Review will hold a public hearing for those occupants this evening at 6 p.m. The board initially ordered the shelter closed on grounds of multiple building code violations back in January but rescinded that order during its meeting the following month.

The meeting will be held electronically tonight.
