Johnson City seeks public input on data centers

The City of Johnson City wants to know your thoughts. Specifically, through a survey, on data centers. The city posted on social media, encouraging residents to participate. The city said it is “currently evaluating data center operations & potential impacts such as noise, location, & compatibility with surrounding uses.” The survey asks residents which issues concern them the most regarding data centers, as well as the level of concern they have about the development of data centers in Johnson City. Those who fill out the survey can also select what kind of approach they would like to see the city take on data centers and how they would prefer to find updates on the matter.
