Judge dismisses major lawsuit against Johnson City
A federal judge has dismissed a major lawsuit against Johnson City related to Sean Williams. Former federal prosecutor Kat Dahl brought the lawsuit against Johnson City, former police chief Karl Turner and several other officers. Dahl claimed her constitutional rights were violated when Johnson City declined to renew her contract. Dahl said she believed it was because she had called attention to the rape accusations against Sean Williams. Johnson City and former officers denied those claims. In a ruling Friday, a federal judge stated Dahl had failed to meet the burden of proof.
