Kingsport leaf collection continues until January 16

Kingsport’s bulk leaf collection service is scheduled to end next week, and city officials are urging residents to ensure their leaves are accessible for pickup before the season ends. The city has been collecting loose leaves from neighborhoods as part of its yearly program, working through zones until all areas are serviced. Officials ask residents to keep leaves out of the street and officials ask that the debris be free off large branches, rocks and other objects that can damage the collection equipment. For those who miss the final collection next Friday, January 16th, bagged leaves can still be placed with regular yard waste for pickup on normal trash days.
