Man Charged With Domestic Assault After Train Slams Into Car Left Parked On Railroad Tracks

In an update to a story we first told you about on Monday, Police have charged Terry Vickers with domestic assault, and other charges in connection to Monday mornings train collision with a car. Police say Vickers was arrested after two people got out of a car that was left on the tracks. Thirty seconds later a Norfolk Southern train slammed into the car and threw the vehicle into a nearby fence near the intersection of Flemming and Railroad Street just after midnight.
