Man charged with DUI after major crash on I-81 Tuesday morning

A man is charged with DUI after a crash in Bristol, Tuesday. Tennessee Highway Patrol said that Arthur Cobbett has been arrested and charged with DUI, open container law, reckless endangerment, and three counts of reckless aggravated assault. A crash that happened on Interstate 81 in Bristol, Tennessee resulted in serious injuries. The multi-vehicle crash closed the southbound lanes near mile marker 74. The interstate reopened shortly before 2 p.m. News 5 has reached out to THP for more information.
