Marion celebrates 30 years as certified Virginia Main Street community

The Town of Marion is celebrating 30 years as a certified Virginia Main Street community. To celebrate, leaders are launching a new “Summer of Tunes” series featuring a season-long lineup of live music and community events. Organizers said the goal is to bring both residents and visitors downtown for free, family-friendly entertainment throughout the warmer months. Some events include the Hungriest Mother Food Festival, cruise-ins, and a community chili cook-off.
