Missing child in Johnson County found safe

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced the safe recovery of 7-year-old Emmett Mahala after a morning of searching.

The earlier TBI report said Monday evening was the last time anyone had seen the child who lives in Johnson County in the Mill Creek area.

The agency said numerous local and state officials lended manpower and time to help in Emmett’s recovery.
