Multiple charges for Bristol woman who kept dogs in unfit conditions
A Bristol Virginia resident faces three counts of animal cruelty following a search of her Maple Street home that revealed deplorable conditions inside along with three injured dogs.
A city report said multiple visits were made by officers to the home of 26-year-old Allison Rockwell with no response, resulting in police getting a search warrant and discovering the animals that are now receiving medical treatment.
Rockwell also received a summons for no rabies vaccinations for the dogs along with no dog license and failure to provide clean shelter.
