NASCAR Cup Series Champion Chase Elliott adds name to Bristol Dirt Nationals entry list

Reigning NASCAR Cup Series Champion and the sport’s most popular driver Chase Elliott has joined a growing list of major drivers planning to compete at next weekend’s Bristol Dirt Nationals.

Former champions Kyle Busch and Joey Logano along with Cup Series regulars Austin Dillon, Kyle Larson, and Corey LaJoie, and Camping World Truck Series champ Matt Crafton have entries in various divisions that will have races over two days beginning March 19.

The drivers are getting some seat time as practice for the Food City Dirt Race the following weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. The track will have the honor of hosting the first Cup race on dirt since 1970.
